Laurent Zeimet (CSV) has been the mayor of Bettembourg since 2011
Laurent Zeimet, the christian-democrat mayor of the town of Bettembourg has been appointed to Luxembourg's state council.
Zeimet, whose CSV party is in opposition, received parliamentary approval on Tuesday, with 42 out of 60 lawmakers voting in favour.
