Catherine Baflast is set to become managing partner of the law firm PwC Legal as of 1 October, succeeding Cindy Arces whose term in the position will end.

This succession and change in governance has been prepared for several months, the law firm said in a press release on Tuesday.

The new managing partner, Catherine Baflast, started as a lawyer at the company in 2002 which was then called MNKS.

She became as a partner in 2010 and had also been leading the firm's corporate practice as of 2018.  In that year, the firm also joined the PwC network in Luxembourg too.
