The head of capital markets at the European Investment Bank is stepping down for a part-time role at the Luxembourg-based institution.

Eila Kreivi said in a statement on the social media site LinkedIn that she would step away from the role after January but continue as the EIB's chief sustainable finance advisor. She is quitting the role she'd held for a decade to open "more time for family and friends, reading, and getting into better shape," she wrote on LinkedIn.

Her new role will include remaining one of EIB’s lead representatives the EU Platform for Sustainable Finance, an expert group that advises the European Commission in developing its sustainable finance policies.
