Funds lawyer becomes Linklaters' global practice head

A dually qualified sustainable finance expert will lead Linklaters' investment funds

Silke Bernard, who has worked at Linklaters since 2004, has been appointed as the firm’s new global head of investment funds. 

Bernard, who is one of Linklaters' experts on sustainable finance, is succeeding Matthew Keogh, who has completed a six-year term and will now join the law firm’s partnership board.

Bernard has been working with international asset managers and global banking groups during her seven years at the company and will start her new role immediately.

Linklaters operates in 20 countries and advised on $62 billion (€55 billion) of fundraising across private equity, real estate, infrastructure, and credit strategies in 2020.
