Geraldine Knudson has been appointed as the new director general of MyConnectivity, the group set up to promote the rollout of high-speed communication infrastructure across Luxembourg.

Knudson, who will take up her duties on June 1, was the director general of Luxembourg publishing house Maison Moderne until the end of last year. Her previous experience also includes posts in the satellite communications and tourism sectors, and in a managerial role at Luxembourg City Council.

The MyConnectivity group was created in 2021 as a joint venture between the  Luxembourg state and technical management company LU-CIX Management GIE, to oversee the national strategy for high-speed communications, such as the 5G rollout.
