HSBC announces new CEO

Emanuele Vignoli's appointment will be effective on 1 March
Emanuele Vignoli currently serves as managing director, regional head of global liquidity and cash management
HSBC has appointed Emanuele Vignoli as chief executive officer of HSBC in Luxembourg, succeeding Niccolo Polli.
Vignoli, who joined HSBC in 2005 , will start on 1 March. He has previously worked with ABN AMRO and Citibank in the areas of transaction banking front office, and strategy and change management.
HSBC has operated in Luxembourg for 40 years and offers international banking and cash management services.
