Kathryn Hadler has been appointed as the new director of the European Space Resources Innovation Centre (ESRIC), and will start in the role from 1 April.

Hadler, a scientist in mineral processing, will be responsible for boosting  scientific discovery and technology development.

The centre focuses on research and development into space resources.
