Global pharmaceutical company Vertex has appointed Paul Newton as senior country manager of its Benelux team.

Newton, who started his carrier with Sanofi UK, previously worked at UCB before joining Vertex in 2018.

Vertex, headquartered in Boston in the US, is a biotechnology laboratory that invests in scientific research to create medicines for patients with serious diseases.
