American law schools will visit Luxembourg next month to present their master's programmes and answer questions from pupils and parents.

Representatives from some of the US' top law programmes, including the University of Pennsylvania and Duke University Law School, will explain the application process and give details of specific courses.

A panel of speakers from all 14 visiting universities will present their university and courses.

Potential applicants will also be able to have one-on-one talks with representatives.

US ambassador to Luxembourg Randy Evans described master's degrees in law as a skill set which is "in increasingly high demand here in Luxembourg and around the globe".

"As Luxembourg continues to grow as a global center of finance, legal services, wealth management, insurance, investment and technology, more and more firms will be looking for LL.M. degree holders," he added.

The event will be held at Arendt House in Kirchberg on Monday, 5 November from 7.30pm.
