The DKV Urban Trail, held in Luxembourg City on Sunday, proved extremely popular in the sunny weather, with more than 3,000 runners participating and many spectators along the various routes.
The aim of the event's six routes was not only for participants to enjoy the running event but also to soak up the heritage of the capital as they passed various tourist attractions and lesser-known sites.
The main trails were 34, 27, 18 and 13km long for the ninth edition of the event.
