A motorcyclist was clocked at 165k/h on a Luxembourg motorway without insurance while another driver was caught speeding after just retrieving his licence from a previous offence.

Police caught up with the speeding motorcyclist on the A13 at around 8pm on Saturday.

Officers pulled the driver over and found his vehicle insurance had expired. He was asked to hand over his keys.

Also on the A13, a motorist was caught doing 144k/h instead of 90 (on a limited section). The driver was pulled over close to the Livange exit.

It emerged he had retrieved his driving licence just three weeks earlier following another driving offence. His licence was again confiscated.
