Three vehicles were broken into and their windows smashed in Luxembourg City, early Wednesday morning, in a case of attempted theft.

Three vehicles were broken into and their windows smashed in Luxembourg City, early Wednesday morning, in a case of attempted theft.

A resident in rue du Puits not far from the train station in Bonnevoie, was woken up by loud banging noises in the early hours on Wednesday morning and immediately alerted police.

It was then discovered that a total of three cars parked inside the courtyard of the apartment building had their windows smashed in order for the culprit to gain access and steal valuables inside.

Details of what exactly was stolen is not known at this stage.

An investigation has been launched. If anyone is able to shed light on the matter or may have witnessed something suspicious in the Bonnevoie area, they should contact their local police station.
