(ADW) Anyone who visits the “Fond-de-Gras” near Pettange expects to be catapulted into the past with the historic “Train 1900” locomotive following the mining story of a bygone era.But last Sunday the focus was on historic vehicles of another kind as lovingly restored old cars were on display for all to admire. Brands such as Chevrolet, Dodge, Citroën, MG, Packard, Peugeot, Simca, Triumph Volkswagen were all lined up, gleaming in the sunshine to be examined by car lovers.

Under the motto "Driving as before” all cars in the Fond-de-Gras exhibition had to be produced before 1970.

Several car clubs were also present such as "Beetle Club Luxemburg" and “Renault Oldie Frënn Lëtzebuerg” while the Post museum also showed off their vintage vehicles.
