All the fun of the Spring Fair at Luxexpo

The traditional, annual Spring Fair or "Foire du printemps" opened its doors on Saturday once again, at the Luxepo in Kirchberg. In fact this year it is the 104th edition.

Visitors to the fair can enjoy a colourful mix of culinary delights, local produce, entertainment, and tempting wares to spend money on. 

Luxembourg's Prince Felix and his wife Princess Claire were seen on the opening day enjoying the sights and sounds of the fair and tasting a few specialities during their tour.

A new concept has been added this year. While the wines of the current year are traditionally served at the fair, the public are now able to learn more about them, and the new wine quality concept, "appellation d'origine protégée".

Luxemburger Wort was of course present for the first day of the Spring Fair and snapped some atmospheric photos you to peruse though above.

The Spring Fair runs until May 17 and is open from 10am to 7pm on Saturday, Sunday and Thursday and from 2pm to 8pm on all other days.
