Ambulance driver attacked in Soleuvre

(ADW) An ambulance driver was physically attacked in the early hours of Monday morning during a call-out in Soleuvre.

The incident is reported to have occurred at about 2.45am on rue de Differdange.

The police report does not state why the ambulance had been called out, but according to customers of a restaurant at the scene it had taken “far too long to arrive” and they showed their anger once the ambulance appeared.

One customer attacked the driver by physically grabbing him according to police, but it is not known if the man was hurt.
