Anouk Wies appointed to board of Œuvre Nationale
Anouk Wies has been appointed to the board of directors of the Œuvre Nationale de Secours Grande-Duchesse Charlotte, the organisation confirmed on Thursday.
Wies will chair the organisation's stART-up jury, which decides on applications for support from artists and actors. With more than 12 years of experience as artistic director at the Grand Duchy's Cerclé Cité, Wies is currently a strategic advisor on cultural affairs to the rector of the University of Luxembourg.
The Œuvre, initially set up as a fund for the victims of World War II, supports philanthropic causes in Luxembourg, including running the National Lottery.
