Find out more about the role of pollinators such as bees in Luxembourg this weekend with a special event organised by Bee Together and conservation group natur&ëmwelt Remich Section.

Participants will be taken on a guided walk where they can help catch and identify pollinators.

Volunteer Fernand Feitz will explain the lifecycle of these insects and highlight steps that can be taken to improve their habitats and food sources.

The meeting place will be at the ponds in Remerschen near the village of Wintrange, at 2pm on Saturday and at 10am on Sunday.

Participants should register in advance with their preferred date by emailing beetogetherlux@gmail.com before 5pm on Thursday, August 13.

The cost of the event is based on the principle of Pay What You Wish and participants decide how much they would like to donate.

All money collected from the event will be shared by the natur&ëmwelt Remich Section and Bee Together. For Bee Together, the money will be used for its projects, such as building a wild bee hotel.
