Belgium arrests German Internet porn king on alleged tax fraud

(AFP) German prosecutors announced on Monday that a senior manager of pornography website "YouPorn" had been arrested at Brussels airport and was awaiting extradition to Germany over allegations of tax fraud.

Fabian Thylmann, 34, was arrested last week after a German court in the western city of Cologne issued an arrest warrant, a court spokeswoman said.

Thylmann also manages several other sites such as "Pornhub" and "MyDirtyHobby". On Tuesday, police searched his home and offices and seized documents and computers.

Originally from Aachen in western Germany, Thylmann built up a pornography empire over a short span of years through the holding company Manwin Holding sàrl, which is based in Luxembourg, according to German daily Die Welt.
