Bettel hosts Donald Tusk for EU discussions
The President of the European Council, Donald Tusk paid a visit to Luxembourg on Wednesday to discuss European issues with Prime Minister Xavier Bettel.
The two leaders met at the Hotel de Bourgogne, located on Rue de la Congrégation in the capital, to address the main points of European policy, in particular, the future of the European Union.
Some of the key topics of the meeting included the enlargement of the eurozone and the Schengen area.
Tax and institutional archives were also subjects up for discussion, as well as defence, digital markets, and cooperation in the fight against terrorism.
