(CS/dv) Luxembourg Prime Minister Xavier Bettel and his predecessor Jean-Claude Juncker on Monday evening had a friendly encounter following a meeting in Brussels.
At the end of the crisis talks on Greece, Bettel was chatting to the Luxembourg press when he was joined by European Commission president Juncker. The two politicians greeted one another with a friendly hug and smiles.
Juncker swiftly took over from Bettel to brief journalists from Luxembourg, with Bettel simply saying “Äddi” and “merci”, taking off to travel back to Luxembourg for Monday's eve of National Day festivities.
