(CS) Luxembourg bank BGL BNP Paribas is expanding its headquarter in Kirchberg, with two new buildings set to provide space for 4,000 employees.

Two new buildings will rise behind the HQ on Avenue J.F. Kennedy, one featuring 14 floors and the other with six floors. On the whole, the two buildings will offer 51,500 square metres of surface area.

Employees from offices scattered across Kirchberg will come together at the bigger HQ, explained Carlo Thill, chairman of the management board.

The 200-million-euro extension, designed by architecture office M3 and engineer's office Goblet Lavandier, is set to be completed in 2016.
