Blaze consumes Cat Club
A popular night club and restaurant in the capital caught fire in the early hours of Sunday morning with no injuries.
According to police, a dramatic fire engulfed the Cat Club building in rue de l'Aciérie, Hollerich at around 5.30am.
Around 60 firefighters battled the flames but not before they spread to neighbouring buildings Moreno and second-hand furniture store Troc, both of which were also severely damaged.
A number of roads were closed during the operation on Sunday morning, including rue de Hollerich, rue de l'Aciérie and rue de la Fonderie but all were reopened by 12.30pm.
