Body of 48-year-old woman found

(CS) A police patrol in Esch/Alzette on Friday evening discovered the dead body of a woman in a parked car.

Police made the discovery around 10pm. An emergency doctor called to the scene declared the woman as dead.

The woman had been reported missing earlier in the early hours of morning. Police also responded to media reports that an autopsy had been ordered, saying that this information could not be confirmed. 

There was no initial evidence for foul play, police said.
