Bookings open for Irish Club Ski trip
Bookings have opened for the 2014 Irish Club of Luxembourg Ski trip to the Portes du Soleil in France.
The annual visit, which is open to all nationalities, will return to the tried and tested town of Morzine in the Alps from January 22 to 26.
Participants will have access to skiing and snowboarding across the area's 650 kilometres of slopes, straddling 12 resorts in France and Switzerland.
For those who prefer their winter sports off piste, the trip guarantees plenty of other activities including horse drawn sleigh rides, spa clinics, paragliding and snow shoe trekking as well as the compulsory after-ski parties.
Organisers have also negotiated discounts on ski hire, ski lessons, mountain guiding and the lift pass.
Until the end of October, the Irish Club is offering the trip at an early bird rate of 505 euros for members and 525 euros for non-members, based on one person sharing.
From November 1 the standard price of 555 euros for members and 575 euros for non-members will apply.
This covers coach travel, four nights bed and breakfast and three course evening meals at the hotel restaurant.
Participants are not obliged to pay the full fee up-front but are asked to pay a non-refundable 250 euro deposit.
