The main suspect in the murder of Belgian schoolgirl Béatrice Berlaimont, whose body was dumped beside the Luxembourg border, has confessed.
The main suspect in the murder of Belgian schoolgirl Béatrice Berlaimont, whose body was dumped beside the Luxembourg border, has confessed.
The 14-year-old's lifeless body was found in a forest near Arlon on December 1, 2014.
Three and a half months later, key suspect Jérémy Pierson is said to have confessed to kidnapping, holding her against her will, raping and then killing the teenager.
He has also admitted to assaulting and raping a driver close to the Arlon exit as well as another assault on a woman in Saint-Avold, France.
Pierson will appear in court on April 3.
