A Luxembourg mum is to offer an introductory coding class for mums and their daughters this spring to mark International Women's Day.

Madhumalti Sharma was the brains behind the hugely successful computing4kids, offering English-language workshops for young people in Luxembourg.

As the theme of this year's International Women's Day is “Make it happen”, the software professional hopes to do just that by offering a one-off workshop run in partnership with Geek Girls Carrot and Microsoft Luxembourg.

The workshop takes place on March 4 at Microsoft, 23-29 Rives de Clausen, from 6pm to 8.30pm. Places are limited so participants are urged to register now to avoid disappointment.

If you want to get involved, visit iwdlux.eventbrite.co.uk.

Madhumalti is a mother of two who has lived in Luxembourg since 2009. To find out more about workshop4me, visit www.workshop4me.org
