Pétange takes a ride to Rockabilly times
(JB) The Luxembourgish town of Pétange embraced the Rockabilly genre on Saturday as visitors dressed up, collectors showed off cars and live music filled the town centre.
Rockabilly is a type of popular music, originating in the southeastern US in the 1950s, combining elements of rock and roll and country music.
Pétange's Rockabilly festival formed part of its Luxembourg-American friendship festival, paying tribute to the American forces who helped to liberate the town during WWII.
