A voluntary language exchange programme is looking for native English speakers who want to improve their foreign languages to take part in a tandem.

“Tandem de langues”, is a Dudelange-based initiative aimed at promoting discussion between different nationalities and communities in Dudelange by sharing language learning.

Participants are paired off and have conversations in their native tongues as well as the language of their partner.

The next language tandem course begins on November 5 and its organisers Anola Project Ensemble are particularly keen to recruit native English speakers who would like to improve their French, Luxembourgish, German, Spanish, Italian or Portuguese.

Participants must have a basic understanding of the language they wish to master in order for the tandem to be effective.

The workshops take place on Tuesdays from 7pm to 8pm. To take part, sign up before October 30 by calling Anola Project Ensemble on 621 285 149 or emailing ensemble@inter-actions.lu
