Acclaimed Luxembourgish chef Léa Linster's restaurant has dropped a point in a ranking by restaurant guide Gault & Millau Belux.

The Frisange-based restaurant was among the 71 Luxembourg eateries mentioned in the guide but appears to be losing its footing since it received just 17 out of 20 points, down from 18 last year.

Justifying the score, critic Philippe Limburg explained that the restaurant's quality had not wavered but that the menu lacked change. “It is always good, the quality remains the same but it lacks creativity,” he said, adding that Linster needed to wave her magic wand.

Restaurants Mosconi and Clairefontaine retained their scores of 18 out of 20 meanwhile, Michelin-starred Moutfort restaurant “Ma Langue Sourie” gained one point to score 17 out of 20.

In addition, its chef Cyril Molard, was named Chef of the Year.
