The annual Blues Express festival in Lasauvage and the Fond-de-Gras saw dozens of bands take to two 12 stages at two sites, linked by a historical train.

(CS) The annual Blues Express festival in Lasauvage and the Fond-de-Gras on Saturday saw dozens of bands take to 12 stages at two sites, linked by a historical train.

Headlines included Robert Cray, Shirley King, Lloyd Jones, Shawn Pittman, Budda Power Blues and Steelyard Blues Band, with more than 40 acts in total playing on the night, leaving visitors spoilt for choice but also forced to choose between different artists at the various sites.

To travel between Lasauvage and the Fond-de-Gras, blues fans travelled by historic train, adding to the flair of the popular festival, which once again proved a big success on Saturday evening.
