Eco-house owners open their doors to public
(MSS) Planning a building project or renovating your house to make it more energy efficient? The Energy Weeks are just around the corner with tips and tricks from eco-house owners.
In line with the Energy Weeks's theme this year, which is healthy building materials, members of the public will have the chance to visit a selection of renovated or newly built houses that have been constructed with environmentally friendly materials to secure better energy efficiency and a healthy indoor environment.
From October 12 to 26, private house owners will welcome visitors in their homes and take them on a short tour around the house.
The tour will be in Luxembourgish, but with the option of getting an explanation in French along the way.
At all visits participants will also meet the architects and other industry professionals and be able to discuss the benefits, but also the practicalities and problems, that come along with this sort of renovation or construction.
The owners will share tips and tricks on what to remember and consider, and on how to budget for such a project.
