Food For Your Senses becomes Capital Sounds
(CS) Good news for festival fans! The bands that were meant to perform at this year's Food For Your Senses festival, which was officially cancelled earlier this year, will instead take to the stage at the Rotondes from June 24 to 26.
Food For Your Senses was cancelled earlier this year after organisers failed to find a suitable outdoor location. However, bands already booked to appear will now feature in the Capital Sounds festival at the Rotondes, which will open mid-June near the central train station.
The festival will kick off on June 24 at the De Gudde Wëllen café with Skuoia and Napoleon Gold. On Saturday, the festival moves to the Rotondes, with Wanda, Dillendub, AVAVAV, WAIIACE and DICE performing at the KLUB venue.
On Sunday, around 20 bands will take to the stage at the KLUB and Rotondes 1, including headliners Mighty Oaks, Jack Garratt and Natas Loves You.
The festival will also include an art exhibition at the Rotondes, featuring more than a dozen artists from Luxembourg, Belgium, France and Germany. There will also be street art performances and culinary treats, with organisers hoping to transform the outdoor area of the venue to give Capital Sounds more of a summer festival flair.
Tickets for the opening night at De Gudde Wëllen will only be available at the door for 5 euros. Tickets for Saturday will be available at the door for 10 euros. Entry is free for everyone who already bought a Food For Your Senses ticket. Sunday tickets will be available in pre-sale for 25 euros from June 5 on ffys.lu
