Luxembourg City rocks for 27th time
Luxembourg City's "Rock um Knuedler" that took place on Sunday, is actually the country's oldest existing music festival.
For the 27th edition, organisers dropped the idea of shipping in an international act to headline the free festival. Instead, Luxembourg music and artists rocked the day and into the evening.
Among the surprises was the "Letz Rock" project playing songs from 50 years of Luxembourgish pop history.
Pop band Austinn played the main stage on Kneudler, or Place Guillaume II as it is also known, followed by local rock heroes Fox who performed to an appreciative large crowd.
The whole event though was headlined by Pascal Schumacher and Maxime Delpierre playing their style of jazz-pop and electro music, an excellent end to the multi-genre concerts of Luxembourg musicians.
