Preview of concerts in Luxembourg this October
With the likes of Papa Roach, Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds and rising pop superstar in Dua Lipa playing Luxembourg this October, there is sure to be something for all tastes in the coming month.

Seventeen years on and ‘Last Resort’ is still on heavy rotation on rock radio. Now onto their ninth full-length, ‘Crooked Teeth’ the band have returned to their humble and hungry roots. Afrobeat quartet No Metal In This Battle fuses post punk sensibility alongside a healthy dose of math rock for good measure, bridging the gap between Tony Allen and Fugazi. Their debut ep saw the band pick up a record deal from ‘Luik records’ and saw the band play as far a field as Japan. Now back with their debut album launch for ‘Paprika’ be sure to see their raucous show at Rotondes on October 6.
One of the most critically acclaimed acts working today returns to Rockhal on October 10. Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds influence has been profound and far-reaching as they remain one of the most powerful and exciting live acts in the world. Their 16th studio album ‘Skeleton Tree’, another in the collection of critically acclaimed albums is less polished, with some minimal production compared to their usual sound, however it has still hit a chord with the public charting at number 1 in 8 countries.
Returning for its second edition, the psychedelic music festival Psychokuzu comes to Rotondes on October 13. This year’s festival will see organisers The Kooters release their new album ‘Illusions’ along side other local psych favourites The Choppy Bumpy Peaches who’ll release a new single. They’ll both be joined by the explosive fuzz sounds of Dutch act The Hazzah and English act Bonfire Nights with their pulsing psych grooves.
The hugely successful Australian brother-sister folk-blues group Angus & Julia Stone is back in the limelight with the new single ‘Snow’. Angus and Julia Stone have touched millions of souls across the globe and they're set to continue their extraordinary singer/songwriter adventure. Catch them at den Atelier on October 16.
Pop’s hottest rising star, Dua Lipa will hit the Rockhal stage on October 21. Lipa has been at the forefront of the critics lips for years now, having been nominated for awards by the BBC and MTV Europe as well as being selected as a finalist for the prestigious “Critics’ Choice” prize at the Brit Awards. Finally her euphoric pop has hit the right notes with the public with her Spotify plays now topping over 1 billions plays.
