(MSS)  Perhaps you have "liked" Street Photography Luxembourg on Facebook - an urban photography initiative that encourages people to contribute to the site by posting their own snapshots from Luxembourg's cityscape.

Created in the beginning of the year by six young Luxembourgers, Street Photography Luxembourg has already generated just under 1,500 “likes” on Facebook.

They post their own photos, but also encourage followers to submit their photos from around the city and suburbs, gathering snapshots of moments and scenery.

“The street is never the same. The same situation never happens twice and you can't prepare your photos – they are spontaneous,” said Paul Bintner, who is one of the five people behind the photography page.

“We want to show Luxembourg from another side and prove that daily situations are not boring, but can be beautiful too,” Bintner explained.

On December 7 from 7pm the six photographers and five people selected by their submissions to the site, will be exhibiting the photos at the café Brigitte in Grund.
