Deloitte Luxembourg is to move its 1,600 employees to the Cloche d'Or in 2019, the financial company confirmed in a press release on Tuesday.

The company will move to two buildings in Gasperich, one of which will be a 17-storey tower, connected by a large atrium covering four floors.

The new offices, which are expected to be completed in four years, will provide 30,000 m2 office space with capacity to accommodate additional staff should the company's workforce continue to expand.

Having all employees on one site should ease some of the difficulties staff currently face, located as they are across three buildings in the Findel area.

“We have been looking for a solution to bring all our professionals together in one workplace to drive cooperation and interaction across our service lines. We have now decided for Cloche d’Or and we are confident that the future headquarters of the firm will be an extremely positive move on all levels,” said Deloitte Luxembourg Managing Partner Yves Francis.

In addition to office space, the new premises will include a restaurant, training facilities and an auditorium.

Once completed, it will mean that two of Luxembourg's “Big Four” audit firms (PwC) will be based in the Cloche d'Or.
