(JB) What do foreign nationals think about the Luxembourg nationality reform bill? 

According to a straw poll made by wort.lu/en, the international community was closely following the bill to reform the nationality law.

The changes were generally regarded positively, but the impact of the proposals would be minimal for many of those questioned.

While some said they struggled with the Luxembourgish language aspect, which will be unchanged under the current proposal, others were already taking steps to gain the nationality for various reasons and would not benefit from certain elements like the reduction of the residency clause from seven to five years.
