Luxembourg's Democratic Party (DP) published its candidate list on Wednesday for the Central electoral district.

Prime minister Xavier Bettel and Integration and Family minister Corinne Cahen are set to lead the list.

For the first time, the DP is listing two top candidates for each district, something only the Greens have done so far.

The candidates will be confirmed on 3 May at the party's national congress.

The full list of DP candidates for the Central electoral district comprises Guy Arendt, Simone Beissel, Héloïse Bock, Sylvia Camarda, Frank Colabianchi, Tanja De Jager, Jana Degrott, Françoise Deutsch, Martine Dieschburg-Nickels, Joëlle Elvinger, Marc Fischer, Patrick Goldschmidt, Marco Houwen, Claude Lamberty, Michel Malherbe, Stéphanie Obertin, Lydie Polfer, Jeff Wirtz and Nicolas Wurth.

All parties in Luxembourg announce candidates for each of the four electoral districts – North, South, East and Centre – and usually designate one or two top candidates for each district, as well as one national top candidate.
