Driver flips car over & heads to work before telling police
In a north Luxembourg road accident, a car plunged down an embankment and landed in a stream upside-down. But the uninjured driver calmly went to work before informing police.
The accident occurred at about 7:30am on Wednesday on a route between Hosingen and Wilwerwiltz. The motorist is said to have lost control of his car, skidded, hit and damaged a roadside barrier, before veering down an embankment, flipping the car over, and eventually coming to a halt on its roof right in the middle of a stream.
The driver, unharmed in the ordeal, managed to free himself, but left his car behind and made his way to work. It was only then that he informed police and a towing service of his accident.
Sure enough police discovered the upside-down car just by the village of Pintsch, where it was retrieved and the site secured.
