Easier train travel to Brussels from September

29.08.2013 From our online archive
From September 2, passengers travelling between Luxembourg and Brussels will no longer have to switch trains in Arlon.

(CS) From September 2, passengers travelling between Luxembourg and Brussels will no longer have to switch trains in Arlon.

This will make the journey on IC trains between the Grand Duchy and the Belgian capital more comfortable and a little bit faster.

For several months, SNCB train wagons of the type AM9 were unable to pass Arlon because of a conflict between Luxembourg and Belgian safety systems.
