Confidence in Luxembourg's tourism industry is growing it would appear after a major international chain opened its first Luxembourg hotel.

Park Inn by Radisson opened along Avenue de la Gare, in the heart of the shopping district and just 200 metres from the City's central train station.

Offering 99 rooms, three meeting rooms and a 24 hour fitness room, the hotel claims to offer a “real local service”.

Run by Belgian national Xavier Damster, a manager with a strong track record of working in Luxembourg, the hotel is aimed at serving travelling business clients as well as tourists.
