Forget expensive promotional TV adverts, Luxembourg has found an even better way to promote itself to businesses abroad - getting expats to share their experiences.

A new video clip dubbed "Luxembourg, Truly Good, Part 1", has been released by Luxembourg for Business as part of this strategy.

The artily shot, six-minute clip introduces viewers to three expatriates working in widely differing fields, who explain what initially attracted them to Luxembourg and why they have stayed as long as they have.

“Many people came to Luxembourg not knowing what the country was about, and after years they are still here, have raised their families, were successful in their careers and never left the country again,” explained Luxembourg for Business Secretary General Carole Tompers, adding: “The video testimonial is an explicit endorsement from people who are part of Luxembourg and is an honest and objective view on what quality of life in Luxembourg truly means.”

The video is the first in a series of video testimonials and supports Luxembourg's international charm offensive launched by the Ministry of the Economy and Foreign Trade and Luxembourg for Business. It will not be aired on television but will be promoted on the Luxembourg for Business website and via social networks.

Other testimonials can be found on the Luxembourg for Business website's media corner www.luxembourgforbusiness.lu
