(CS) The Luxembourg Actors Repertory Theatre returns in 2014 in the run-up to Valentine's Day with intimate play Love Letters.

Actors Rep is the Grand Duchy's first professional English-language theatre group, which celebrated its debut with Edward Albee's The Goat Or, Who is Sylvia? in June 2013 at the Théâtre National.

The drama group is now back with its second play, Love Letters by A R Gurney, chronicling the love of Andy and Melissa as they read a series of love letters they wrote to each other during their fifty years together.

The play was first performed in 1988 at the New York Public Library and moved to Broadway the following year. Love Letters was also a finalist for the Pulitzer Prize for Drama.

Andy and Melissa will be played by Actors Rep co-founder and Producing Director Timothy Lone and Associate Artistic Director Louisa Graf, who both starred in leading roles in The Goat.

The cozy Art Café in Luxembourg City will be the setting for this intimate play, during which both actors sit side by side scouring through the history of their relationship. Performances are scheduled for 8pm on January 31 and February 2 to 4, as well as February 11 to 13.

Tickets are 18 euros for adults and 8 euros for students, with reservations now available at +352 621 520 711 or tickets@ActorsRep.lu
