Final City summer flea market on Sunday
(CS) Luxembourg City will be hosting its final summer flea market on Sunday, with shops in the capital also open and free bus services available for bargain hunters.
The jumble sale on Place Guillaume II will be open from 10am to 5pm on October 6. Shops across the capital will be open from 2pm to 6pm the same day, with free public transport available to take shoppers to the City centre.
All lines of the capital's bus network (1 to 25) will be available for free and there will also be a shuttle bus connected the Glacis car park with Rue Beaumont every six minutes between 1.30pm and 6.30pm.
Bus service 1 will be departing every 10 minutes from the Bouillon Park & Ride car park from 1.02pm.
New second-hand market in November
Shops will be open again on Sunday on October 20.
Additionally, there will be a flower market in Place des Martyrs on October 13 from 9am to 5pm. On October 20 and November 17, the “Glacismaart” will offer anything from fried chicken to second-hand clothes.
Finally, the City of Luxembourg is launching a new second-hand market on November 23 and 24 in a tent on the Glacis. The market will be open from 9am to 5pm, and anyone wishing to rent a stall can contact firstname.lastname@example.org
