Across the country, “lycée” students in their last year of school began their final exams on Monday, with 3,711 students signed up in total.

(CS/jsf) Across the country, “lycée” students in their last year of school began their final exams on Monday, with 3,711 students signed up in total.

Of the students taking part, 1,837 will be hoping to pass their final “lycée classique” exams, with 1,322 sitting “lycée technique” exams. Additionally, 552 students will be completing their technician training and 26 will be sitting exams to complete evening classes.

Just over 55 percent of students were female with 44.8 percent of them male. Every exam will be graded by two to three teachers. A total of 1,332 teachers in 198 exam commissions are on the job.

Exams continue until the beginning of June.
