Fire breaks out in Dudelange house
Firefighters rushed to a house in Dudelange after a blaze broke out in a room on the first floor, Thursday evening.
The incident occurred at about 11pm on rue Albert Cremmer in a family home and the fire brigade needed special respiratory equipment to gain access in the building as smoke billowed out from a window.
The fire was quickly brought under control and extinguished, however the building had to be complete ventilated meaning it wasn't before 12:30am that the firefighting team could leave the scene.
Two residents who had attempted to tackle the blaze themselves before calling emergency services, where taken to Esch-sur-Alzette hospital for a complete check-up, although no serious injuries were reported.
Details of what caused the fire is not known at this stage.
