Frank turns on Dudelange
(CS) UK singer-songwriter Frank Turner was one of the headline acts of this year's Fête de la Musique in Dudelange, which saw over 30 artists perform at free concerts in the town throughout the day.
Dudelange hosted one of the biggest events of this year's music festival, which takes place across the country from June 13 to 21, having kick-started the idea of the Fête de la Musique in the Grand Duchy.
Celebrated across Europe on June 21, Luxembourg has turned the festival into an occasion to enjoy international and local gigs around the country, with this year the biggest yet, as 23 towns signed up to take part.
Frank Turner & The Sleeping Souls took to the stage around 10.30pm, following local band Versus You and Berlin-based group Mighty Oaks, among many others. Crowds had flocked to the concerts in Dudelange, filling the Place de l'Hôtel de Ville late into the night, as Angel At My Table began their set after midnight.
This year's Fête de la Musique comes to a close in Luxembourg City on June 21, with a concert by the OPL philharmonic orchestra and many other acts. For more information and the full programme click here.
