The British Ladies Club Luxembourg had all right ingredients for their fun in the sun day on Sunday.

The British Ladies Club Luxembourg had all right ingredients for their fun in the sun day on Sunday.

Around 90 people from different nationalities turned out at the Heringer Millen in Mullerthal for the special summer event which featured a bouncy castle, fishing, a treasure hunt with Captain Jack Sparrow, duck race and lots of other children's activities.

BLC business members were able to showcase their projects by selling items such as jewellery, beauty products and knitted children's items from a number of stalls.

Meanwhile, all were able to enjoy a tasty lunch in the bright sunshine, accompanied by cakes and desserts made by the ladies at the Foyer St Antoine. All profits from the food and drinks will go to the BLC's chosen charities for the year: Mateeneen fir Kanner (part of Plan International) and Standing Together against domestic violence in the UK.

Philippa Wilson and Becky Gollackner, joint organisers of the event and Co-Chairs of the BLC, thanked everyone who came along and contributed to the day.

The British Ladies Club is a group helping women in Luxembourg to make friends, network and share their knowledge and experiences of the country.

They organise a number of events throughout the year. To find out more, visit
