Grenade found at building site

(CS) A construction worker unearthed an artillery grenade at a parking lot in the rue Munchen-Tesch in Luxembourg on Wednesday morning.

The grenade, measuring around 10 centimetres in diameter with a length of 20 to 30 centimetres, was dug up by the construction worker at around 9.20am as he was working with a digger.

The army's service explosives disposal unit removed the grenade. No further details on the grenade's origin were given.
