(CS/DL) After a company working on the demolition of the Centre Hamilius was declared bankrupt last week, developers do not predict any delays for the Royal Hamilius project.

ORTP SA from Esch/Alzette was declared bankrupt last week on Friday, with 92 jobs threatened, according to labour union LCGB.

Royal Hamilius developer Codic, however, commented that the issue should not impact the project, which has repeatedly run into delays in the past.

Scheduled to start in January 2012, demolition works finally began earlier this year.

A spokesperson commented to the “Luxemburger Wort” that the demolition would progress as planned, but was unable to name the company taking over the job.
